Mythology-Dante's Inferno Framed

11/9/2015

Picture
It is always nice to have a good response to my art. And, I am happy to say my Mythology Series of Illuminated Drawings, inspired by Dante's Inferno have been well received.  A dear customer and avid collector of art sent me this picture of how they framed the series. They live in a contemporary home in beautiful San Diego overlooking the waterfront. I love the simplicity of the frame they chose keeping with a modern theme and fresh look putting two prints in one frame. They have the drawings leaning against the wall on a marble counter near where they serve wine to their guests. They told me the drawings and the meaning behind each rendering sparked a serious and lively conversation about The Divine Comedy and Dante's journey through Hell.

Thank you, to my friends Chuck and Joan for sharing how the work found a place in their home.  I love it when my clients  show me where and how they display my art.

For those interested, here is a link to where you can purchase these frames.
