When minds meet…
there is an uncanny resonance that takes place between two people. Thus was the development of Teri Whittaker’s Personal logo in which I had the pleasure of creating and illustrating. (image below).
Teri had a great sense of who she was as a Production Designer. This created a clear foundation to start with. We talked, I did some sketches and the project started. As a client, Teri was great for she allowed the idea and the expression of that idea to unfold creatively over a two week period.
During the process, nuances and symbols arose that were not in the original sketch. As the art evolved and with each iteration we were getting to know Teri's inner personality.
The process, the art, the style and the expression had a life of its own that unfolded the story of Teri Whittaker. She and I let go of fixed ideas and stepped aside trusting the process.
It was truly a fun project that didn’t have the angst of adhering too soon to a fixed vision that had not yet matured. Each evolution held the essence of the original idea that ultimately came into full expression as
the mystic and magician within the mind of Teri Whittaker.

This is the Final Inked Drawing that was then digitized and cleaned-up

for more illustrative expressions.
